Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has the BMW part number for the third, smaller radiator hose that goes from the bottom corner (passenger side) of the rad to the long t-shaped water pipe off the block?

Local car parts place says there are two different types, no idea which is right, and the one currently on my car is.. non standard, haha, so incorrect anyway.

My car is an M52 not running air con, and an e36 328 air con radiator.

Thanks! *looks hopeful*

Is it not on the hose?

If it is a genuine hose then there should be a bmw part number branded somewhere under the road dirt.

Sadly i don't have the actual hose fitted - I used a non-bmw hose i had laying around when doing the conversion, but it's not a perfect fit - Want to get it corrected before finally getting the airbox in to replace the horrid K&N mushroom!

Would your original iS hose not fit Andy?

I think it was either perished or on the way Dan, the m42 hose in place at mo is way too long and has to go up and down a bit, airlock waiting to happen and is untidy ha.

I was missing the same hose and I ordered a new one from BMW - don't think it was expensive either.

I don't have the part number to hand sadly.

An E36 328i hose will do, it will be a couple of inches too long due to the radiator being closer to the engine in an E30 but it won't be a problem.
Cant see why there would be two hoses

#8 on here? http://2009.bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/ ... ter_hoses/

The 'other' hose appears to be the equivalent one on late cars with the black triangular header tank.
