Hi any ideas on what i can try to resolve the following.
original issue was when i opened or closed the electric hood the flap would catch on the rear part of the roof and not work. After looking on here i replaced the rod for the main part of the roof which was bent and adjusted the other rod that operates the rear part of the hood.
when i operate the roof to open when the rear part of the roof lifts up just as the flap (the lid that houses the roof ) is about to start lifting if i release the switch and then press it again the rear part of the roof moves up a little further and the flap clears the roof and works i have to do the reverse for closing . releasing the switch and pressing it again seems to be giving it that little extra to lift it to the correct position could it be a micro switch anyone else had anything like this ,
good thing is i can now use the roof but i would like to have it working correctly any assistance appreciated ,
by the way it has a electric motor repair plate fitted which is when the original issue started. thanks for any info
