Guys what's best practice for using this on the engine bay?

From hoses to paint work.

Dilute it to the required strength and I'd apply using a pump bottle and a fine mist. Apply generously then work in with a brush, I've used an old toothbrush in the past as it's perfect for getting in gaps. Rinse off immediately, do not let it dry out. Repeat until you're happy with it. Also bag up the electrics to keep them dry and make sure the engine's cold.

A quick clean will make a world of difference, but if you're going for paedo clean get ready to put some hours in.
