can I use a 528i ecu and wiring loom for my 328i conversion

I was wondering if the 5 series ecu and wiring looms are the same or different to the 3 series 328i ecu and wiring looms.

There is a 528i locally to me in a scrapyard and was going to get these bits if they are the same, also is the manifold the same aswell|?
