i got a phone call off a mate who asked me to look at some problems with his 98 328i as he thinks it's been bodged by some mot spanner monkey,story go's that it failed the mot because one front indicators wasn't working which they decided was a break in the wire,rather than trace it back to the break they've cut into the side indicator live and run an earth from the front lifting loop on the engine across the rocker cover cable tied it to the air con pipe then into the back of the indicator which now works,but now the window don't work neither do the mirrors,rear parking sensors and the interior light flickers in the off position.
my knowledge of electrics extends to checking the fuse's which all look fine,is there a control module for all the above?
