Even in that video that blokes hood is bolloxed. He shouldn't need to lift the rear screen like he does or fuss about putting it away.
The way he was folding the fabric was right though.
Is the problem hood automatic or a manual?

The pic Mick posted shows the roof fold is catching. This piece of material should fold in the opposite direction and you may have more than one section where it's not folding in the right direction.
Getting it to do this automatically is a different problem, but try altering these folds so that they are right first, and see if the roof fits.

Apologies for stepping in on this thread. I do have a thread titled 'cabby roof specialist' in this section.
Gert, I'm having to do exactly what that guy is doing on Shedrool83's video..?
I'll get those pictures up on my thread as you suggested Gert.
Thanks guys.

the fabric on the biggest fold likes to fold towards the steering wheel and not towards the back light on older roofs where the tension strap stitching has come apart a bit. this prevents the horse shoe closing. not much you can do once the fabric has got this "memory". you have to get out half way through and smooth the folds the correct way thus making a fully electric roof pointless. my mate reckons steamimg the fabric tense again and erasing it new found bad folding habits works but i havent ried it. im just jumping out mid fold to fettle!
