Right, so obviously I'm being a tad retarded, because I've done this before!!!

So how the hell do I remove the rusty old lighter socket from the ashtray surround?????

I've done it before and I have a good working one in the car at the mo, ready to clip into this replacement ashtray/trim, just as soon as I can get the old one out!!!

Can't find a page for that on the wiki, or with the search and it's driving me nuts!!!!!!!!
I thought it just popped out with a bit of force???

It did feel like I shouldn't have got up this morning - maybe I should listen to myself more!!!!

Ok, done it - retarded moment over - back to normal - nothing to see here!!!

Think the plastic had gone a bit hard so was easier to work with after a soak in some warm water!!!
