A length of metal rod or suitable sized bolt and a hack saw. A bit of trial and error and job jobbed.

The length needed can vary from car to car, so not easy for someone else to make without access to your car.

I used the shank of an old bolt I found in my spare bolt tin, cut the bolt head off and the threaded part, and then trial and error with the length as said. I drilled into one end slightly to make an indent so the pushrod would locate nicely, bit probably didn't need to do that.

It took me 2 attempts as I had it slightly too long to start with the brakes started binding after driving for a couple of miles.

So you just need a vice, a hacksaw and a bit of patience really!
