My 320i is now leaking oil from what appears to be the front right of the engine, near the bottom. It only leaks when the engine is running (if you look into the engine bay from above, the drips of a a large mounting hole like thing, if you own a 320i), so is there any external pipes for the lubrication system, or do i have a dirty great hole in the engine somewhere??????????

The first cyliner (nearest to the radiator) is not firing, could these be related?

I love the way these cars look and go, but i am seriously regretting swapping my 1984 190E for this!!!!!

Nope, thats for the 325 oil cooler. He's got a 320.

Check the oil filter is tight then have a look higher up the front of the engine it may be the camshaft oil seal.

Well the problem is it is very difficult to see where it is actually leaking from as it is hidden behind the fan, disi cap, etc.......

The oil filter is fine, but also on the wrong face of the engine.

I just thought that maybe there was a feed pipe going to the head or something obvious that might be leaking.

Guess i will just have to take a closer look.
