Sounds pretty big in SA, any of our SA members go to these events?

I only ever drove past it with my parents friends, they told me its not the best place to visit when staying in jburg.

We lived in a rented house and we had this maid which lived in this shanty town, anyway we were told they are also a no go area, but my mum would drop the maid off in a brand new Bright RED E36 and nothing was said or done to her. It was weird as the maid could not undertand why we were being so nice to her! At the end of the trip my dad gave her enough money to send her two kids to a better school.

ha ha ha ha ha ha you wouldnt last less than 3 min if you had to drive into soweto with a IS (hijack or stolen). ThatÔš's the problem with owning e30's in SA. There is always someone out there who wants your car. I am often congratulated on the condition of my car , and am asked how many times i have had it stolen!!
Anyway i have heard Soweto (SOuth WEstern TOwnship) is not that bad anymore (but you wont catch me anywhere near there in my car), they are learning there is a lot of money to made from tourism and are cleaning up the place double quick.
There are tours where you can go and see how people live and eat some traditional food etc. Can be quite an eye opener.
But like anywhere else in the world, its got crime.

PS: By the way if you are ever in Joburg and someone tellls you they wanna go or take you to Alexander or Alex, i would get the f*ck out of there, now there is a piece of shit hole town of crime.
