Removing steering uj top part

Hi I'm trying to do the corsa steering knuckle swap as in the wiki iv cut the top corsa knuckle off and retained the bearings but how do I get the e30 upper off the other piece. Do I cut into the internal cross/pivot bits or can I knock the bearings out some how. Cheers.
