I am still getting a rattle from the front right side. Now it seems to occur most when I turn left. It sometimes appears when I am going slowly in a straight line, but turning it is worst. it goes away above 20kph. Like I said before, the control (and associated joints) is only a few months old. Could it be a knackered wheel bearing? Any way to check?

Lift the wheel clear of the ground and grab it at top and bottom, any rocking movement is play in the bearing.Wheel bearing is more of a whine, though.(similar to a woman...)

Rattle?
Have you checked things like heatshields/air filter box/exhaust etc?

It's better to continue the old thread than start a new one, otherwise people don't know what's already been suggested:

Have you tried anything from there?

Sorry about new thread, I have looked at the things suggested. Time to bight the bullet and and get a mechanic to drive the car and do a diagnosis.
