Ok, so I have a rattle from the front rhs of the car.
I have replaced the shock absorber(knackered), control arm and associated joints, steering rack and disc pads. The springs are nicely fitted. Still rattle on small bumps. What else could it possibly be ?
Process of elimination

Top mount is the only think you haven't mentioned assuming by associated joints that includes the drop links to the ARB as you seem to have done everything else - also assume everything is correctly torqued up ?
Worst case the subframe where the ARB shackles attach could have rotted meaning it's flapping about.

Are you sure it's not something silly like the shield plate under the gearbox? It has two thin arms riveted to it, and one of those had popped when I took mine off, and noticeably rattled.

At last I have sorted it. I put the car on axle stands and shook, spun and rattled everything. One brake pin on the passenger side was moving slightly causing a rattle that was being amplified. The calliper assembly was all bolted up correctly, but the pin had slight movement. It was shiny clean with no grease. A good dose of high temperature grease and a reassembly cured the rattle. I am well chuffed.
