Intermittent indicators

My indicators have started acting up on both sides.

They start off ok then miss a flash or two before stopping altogether. Next time I use them the same thing happens.

Whereabouts is the flasher relay (it's a '93 316 Touring).

your flasher relay is under the steering column you will have to remove the lower plastic cover to gain access you will need to remove your steering wheel to remove 2 screws located behind it

Take the steering wheel off? Bit drastic - not a 2 minute job then!
