Yea i like to see it in my proper bank account if i'm not sure about the buyer before sending.
Jon contact paypal, and don't leave it too long as after 30days they wont do anything.

I live in Eastbourne, not far from Kent, wouldnt mind going there as part of a 'recovery' gang and get the bumper back.Theo325 wrote:I see that he lives in Kent, I could go round and nick your bumper back for you if you want!
Honestly, so many stories of rip-offs this is worrying.
Edited: Weay !! I just bacame zone camper

thanks for the support guys. i mean im not trying to name and shame the guy
, but im hoping if he sees this that he might get his ass in gear.
this as happened to me before. some yank bought some lights off me, i posted them by surface mail(which takes ages, but its the only cost effective way). a few weeks later i get the money reversed from my acount. this is after ive sent the lights and paid Ԛ£70 for postage. i then used threatening behaviour and soon got the money back that was rightfully mine.
the bumper was a rear crome type. crome bumpers are hard to find in good condtion now. it went for Ԛ£58+postage i think.
if i get anoymore of this i may stop useing paypal.
i cant understand why hes done this as his feedback is good. whats more though is that i still havent given him feedback.

i just had a look. there is no complaint. it just says "transaction put on temporary hold by paypal"?. his as on the 14th of december, i took it up with him then and he says he will sort it.
it was then refunded back to him the other day.
i dont want the bumper. just my money guys.

Jon be a bit careful as if he keeps delaying you and pushes for that 31 days, i'm pretty sure you'll never see the money as paypal won't get it for you. The only way you get it back would be to "take" it back then.jonb wrote:si

If paypal have already done they're investigating, and refunded him, I'm afraid the only thing left to do is to give paypal a ring, they will probably only fob you off with some bullshit.jonb wrote:si

Have you requested his user details? I did this the other day to a guy that bought something on e-bay from me and didn't pay, ignoring all my mails, he was really shocked that I was able to get his phone number, and really sounded worried..soon sorted him out though!!

I would just lodge the issue with paypal quick sharp mate, 3 more days and it is a month!
Maybe he put in some fiddly redemption code he knows? unlikely though.
Does his feedback suggest postings after you have emailed him? If so he is evidently dodging you and I would leave shitty feedback for openers.
Maybe as you have a shipping address for him and you have evidence of the funds being removed from your account, I would also send him an invoice to his address by registered post and demad payment in full within 7 days.

Usually when you have doupts, listen to yourself, 100% feedback is good but its never a garentee.......people can make sure they get afew good ones under their belt and hey presto go for the big scams after........
I've almost been scammed on ebay........."almost" as i paid the guy a visit and guess what go my money then and there after he claimed he had sent my refund 3days prior.
Don't really trust ebay.....but you know how it goes, when you want sumthing u just have to get it...lol..Common sence DO IT WITH CAUTION!

visit www.moneyclaim.gov.uk and fill in a claim form.
Theres about a Ԛ£20 fee which he will have to pay
the guy will have to pay, if he doesnt hell get CCJ's against him and the baliffs round!!
that should teach him!

Serves you right Jon for dealing with a metal bumper loser!, i can't remember the last time i seen a chrome turd worth Ԛ£71 !. Maybe his medication wore off and he realized what he had done ?
As Simon mentioned, request his details through Ebay. then give him a call and suggest that you nip round and sort it out on his doorstep. That's what i did when the zero rated seller didn't send me my turbo. i had no response to emails for six fcuking weeks and thought i'd lost the money, but after calling him it arrived 2 days later by special delivery.

Just noticed this post.
I got ripped off by this guy also.
His details are
Mervyn Long
56 Bellevue Road
Ramsgate,
Kent
CT11 8DL
United Kingdom
He bought a centre console and electric window motors and wiring from me, (total of just under Ԛ£70), paid with PayPal then his payments were suspended by PayPal, then refunded to him.
Despite many e-mails to PayPal, I got no joy from them.
I sent several warning e-mails to him - all with no replies, then a letter warning of court action (by recorded delivery). The letter came back to me as 'not collected'
In the end, I gave it up as a bad job and didn't want to waste another Ԛ£30 or so chasing him through the courts for him to end up paying Ԛ£1 per month.
If you head down to him, feel free to put his rear screen through from me!!
Beware out there, not everyone is reliable!

Its a shame Paypal is so popular, because there are other safer alternatives such as Nochex:
http://www.nochex.co.uk
All the same facilities but alot safer, and they dont freeze your account on a whim.
I always try and use Nochex when I can, but too many people still rely on paypal.
I might put another post up and try and see if zoners want to switch.
(no i'm not on commision!)
