sun visor panel does not fit??

Hello,

Just bought a sun visor panel and tried to mount it in my car. So far so good, until i tried to mount the crank for the manual sunroof. It's to deep and I can't turn it. Looks like there is 1cm space between my roof and my sun visor panel. Already cut my headliner to see whats underneath.
But stil does not fit.

Anyone who had this problem too and knows a solution for me?
