e30 318i Cabriolet mods

I have a 318i auto Cabriolet. I plan on upgrading the engine and changing to manual at a later date but as it hasn't even touched 60k yet. Just wondering what mods I can do to get the most out of the engine.[/code]

Its well looked after as a family friend owns a garage I was wondering.more along the lines of the chip being.changed.
