I can live with a slight shimmer as long as it's consistent. Infact I like a slight shimmer to the paint

Some of the orange peel I have seen on e90's and e60's was a shocking

Hence my choice of Silver :D Actually, mines pretty good overall.

But Some of the darker E60's I saw were horrendous!!

I've never been a fan of diamond black. Had 3 e30's over the years in the various shades it comes in but it never was a colour I warmed to

Good choice

It tends to be excessive in certain areas only, probably down to the shape of the panel.

Dark colours always show surface defects worse than lighter ones.

Fact of the matter is a modern car is a disposable product, who cares about orange peel on their washing machine?

As long as it looks reasonable from 5 feet then less than 1% of your customers will question it.

New cars have some good technology but the attention to detail has been washed away by cost savings.

I'm on my phone so can't see the pics in detail but from what I can see that paint looks like it has a satin finish, I could be wrong though.

I wonder what an E30 sport would look like it that???
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Rolls Royce paint is not BMW paint, infact it's not at all comparable to BMW paint

Not in finish
Not in composition

Rolls Royce paint is actually quite poor. It's soft and marks very easily. BMW paint is one of the hardest around.
