M52 with M20 clutch flywheel

any advantages / disadvantages - valeo's exploding ?

i have an m20 flywheel but am thinking that fitting an old starter and mix of parts will be less reliable - maybe a touch cheaper though

any thoughts?

Gets rid of the dual mass. Less weight is the main advantage.

Fitting the M20 clutch, fly and starter is not any less reliable than your current setup.

Single mass replacement kits are all cheap and nasty, and without doubt really heavy!
I would never fit a valeo clutch kit to an M52, they are only average quality IMO

M20 machined flywheel and Sachs clutch kit is the way to go

Thanks guys- lightened m20 it is then, have seen you modded the bearing Dan and was wondering whether to do the same as I can do it before Hand or do I adapt the fork like others haven mentioned on the day?
