I recently completed an e30 M30 swap to the stage that it can move under its own power.
Since the suspension is still stock 318i I'm in the process of securing upgrage parts i.e heavy duty lowering springs, shocks 51mm struts etc.
My question is if you run staggered 16 inch borbet A wheels how low can you go and how much guard work will it need with 16x9s with 225/40/16s on the rear so it won't scrape???
Is it pie in the sky or can it be done with some guard rolling?

Here it is stock height no issues with wheels.
I got these for a good price but the combo has sacked the ride height.
It looks great sitting in my shed but I won't be backing it out of there as the guard lip is sitting on the tread on the passenger side as it stands.
