I can scarcely believe that I have to write this post, but needs must.

These gents occasionally sell E30s such as this one:

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... on/2784398

So they need to be fully exposed for what they are. Rats.

The Gents in Question are Stephen Boag and Mark (Who's surname I think is also Boag) from a company that used to trade but got into financial difficulties which was called " Buchanon Motors "and their current company which is called "The Throttle Shop "
They are on here and their user name is: thesharkfactor
I also believe they are brothers.

For those of you who don't remember, they sold me an e46 318Ci with a failed head gasket. I then sabotaged one of their auctions on eBay in some sort of childish form of retribution. I will admit to being younger and more foolish then than I am now.
Original Post here:

http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... ay&start=0

But let's not dwell on the past, the present is far more interesting.

As far as I was concerned that was the end of the issue... until now. I had already been the loser in the above interaction, so Imagine my surprise when 5 years... Yes 5 YEARS later, I went to list my Jaguar XJR on eBay and they basically sabotaged my auction in the same way and wasted my time. I guess I deserved it.... I didn't forsee it because it had been 5 Years!!! I guess some people struggle to let things go.

However, This time I played Stephen Boag like a fiddle. I willfully acted like a complete arsehole in a text message exchange with him after the auction and basically engaged him in a chidish tit for tat argument in order to goad him into doing something stupid, and he surely did.

He actually confessed that he knowingly sold me the car with the failed head gasket, and that that particular one was his own personal car at the time. And I can PROVE it.

I will publish three photographs below and everyone else on here can now finally decide for themselves what these people are like.

Number 1:
Image
When Stephen Boag, formerly of the Buchanon Motor Company, currently of Throttle Shop admitted what they did to me.

Number 2:

When Stephen Boag, formerly of the Buchanon Motor Company, currently of Throttle Shop admitted that the car in question was his personal vehicle.

Number 3:
Image
The search results from google when you search the phone number he text me off during the exchange. i.e. proof that the person who is texting is actually Stephen Boag.

I will sign off by saying that during the exchange I said several things which when taken out of the context that they were said in (i.e. fishing for a reaction from these gents) will appear to make me look like a bit of a dick. I can live with that.

Given what I know about these guys they will definitely initiate a smear campaign against me. In doing so they'll just further expose themselves for the type of rats they are. There is no justification for what Stephen Boag said in the messages above.

However, you can decide for yourself what really happened. I'm a lot older and wiser now than I was in 2008, and no matter what I may or may not have said in a text message exchange. Nothing I ever did was as bad as what these two have done to me.

Oh and one last thing, Stephen threatened to continue to harass me on eBay so I couldn't sell my car, and he also started texting me jibberish all the time (message after message) to the point where I couldn't use my phone. In the end I had to get the police involved to get him to stop. From reading their feedback on another eBay account it looks like it's not the first time the Police have had to intervene.

To the moderators, I apologise for creating drama on the site, but this case speaks for itself.

It would appear that Poetic Justice has finally been done.

I believe Buchanon shafted another zoner with a 5k 318is that was scrap ?

IIRC the car ended up at Boyd's for a serious autopsy and I never heard anything else

Hey Bro, how's it going? Yeah it's been a looong time eh?! I sold the S50 on unfortunately as I bought some property. I would have loved to have kept it. Although it was a pretty scary beast.

Have you still got that mint Schwarz 325i Sport?

I think that guy pm'd me... I'm not surprised though, lokk at the E30 ad they had on Pistonheads. The car was "mint" yet the service lights weren't even reset in it. Amateurs.

I've had a solicitor do a lot of research on these clowns. Trouble is brewing...

That was a 318is bought by a guy called Paul from Glasgow. He lost a lot of money, then bought another E30, a red 2 door carbed 318i with Schnitzer morsels. He lost a fair amount of money on that one also IIRC.

Boyd was involved in trying to sort out both messes. There is a common denominator, it's not Boyd and it's not Buchanan Motors or the Boag brothers either.

Buyers beware, there are lots of people in the car sales business who will screw you over in a heartbeat.

Agreed, Caveat Emptor, but have we really gotten to a point where we just stand by and let people like this get away with whatever they want.

No!

Totally agree and more power to you. The internet is a great thing for unscrupulous people, but is even more powerful for those who stand up against them.

Its funny, that silver sport was mentioned in general chat before and I mentioned that the location the photos was taken looked identical to where Paul's IS shots were taken. Sounds like a dodgy bunch.
