Hi there, I have read as much as I can about fitting an electric fan but I have a few little things holding me up.

I have bought all the parts needed according to the wiki and have unscrewed the top of the fusebox but I am unsure how I actually get the crimp connectors in and out of the fuse/relay holders. There are some thin plastic covers either end of the pcb which I don't couldn't seem to remove but I didn't want to apply too much force in case they broke.

Also what gauge cable is best for this job?

And lastly I could not find which pins on the radiator temp switch are which. Can anyone assist?

Appreciate any help anyone is able to give.

Pins need a special tool to remove them intact, but new ones should just push in, and are held in by the sprung tang near the base of the pin.
0.5mm* should be OK for the control circuits (anything associated with pins 85 and 86 of the relays), but a minimum of 1.5mm*, and preferably 2.5mm* should be used for the power circuits ( anything associated with pins 30 and 87 of the relays.)

*=squared.
