Exhaust pipes and lowered car

I have a 325i (not on the road at present and definitely not concours) and it's been lowered by the previous owner. The exhaust pipe runs underneath the rear subframe and I predict a speed hump to exhaust coming together issue occurring in the future. What do people do to limit the problem, apart from raising the car? I'm tempted to "adjust" the rear beam but would rather not. Side exit pipes? Anyone on here got an answer?

My E30 was lowered by what I believe to be 60mm by a previous owner, its so impractical and annoying.
Going over speed bumps or any raised surface in the road most of the time I scrape the mid section of my exhaust (well, I think that's what it is). Sometimes I scrape my side skirts or valances going over things at an angle or up a slope.
Going through some cities I've had to resort to reversing back down the road, mounting the pavement where it dips and going around the speed bump on the pavement. If you can, you'll want to find a different route even if it adds another 15 minutes to your journey.
I don't think anything has been damaged yet, but trust me, if is not worth the hassle. Raise the car up before you start driving it.
