I then turned it over and spotted this massive split.
As the pipe is hidden under the inlet i would never have spotted this crack”¦hope this helps anyone with an air leak they are struggling to locate.

Im overhauling a spare M20 B20 (as a spare engine) and mid way through the strip down I removed the inlet, the rubber pipe that returns to the cam cover looked fine with no splits etc (as you can see from the below)
I then turned it over and spotted this massive split.
As the pipe is hidden under the inlet i would never have spotted this crack”¦hope this helps anyone with an air leak they are struggling to locate.
