Gona put the 328i gearbox in my e30 with an m52 conversion and I know I need a 328i manual prop but will one from a e46 fit too

BMWfans.info should tell you, it gives lengths and coupling sizes if you look in the parts directory.

The e46 is likely longer but it will say on the site.

Depends where the centre bearing sits too.
