Cracked my oil pickup pipe (as well as smashing my sump) 2 weeks ago. Was just wondering if all oil pickup pipes are the same for the whole range of the e30 or are they specific to each model?
Would also but much appreciated if anyone had a spare i could buy off them, dont really want to go through BMW as im sure the price will be quite a bit more

It'll be an M40 most likely, if it has a pick up pipe. On an M20 you swipe off the whole pump.
Only around £10 new from BMW, but there should be plenty around second hand.
Put an ad. in 'E30 parts wanted'.

Either way, I think I paid a few pennies over £10 from BMW for the M40 pick up for mine.
