help with radiator lower mounts

The car is a M40 318i shell

The rad fits ok but the bottom side parts of the rad are completely different to the mounts

The rad is e36 M52B28

The car brackets are plastic, does anyone know if these can be changed so they fit the e36 rad profile?

You need a drivers side E30 cup mount to go in the passenger side then put the rubber bungs on the rad and it will sit nice.

Have you got an old E30 rad laying about? It should have two round rubber bungs/feet that fit the the plastic cups. These rubber feet just pull off the rad.
