idling prob

when slowing down for a junction or traffic lights car sometimes stalls or revs to 2000 before settling.

car idles fine other than that.

any ideas ?

already cleaned idle control valve.

its an m30 motor

It really probably is the ICV, I took mine out and cleaned it three times, even tested it looked liked it worked properly.

But it was only when i replaced it did the problem (same as yours) go away...
