318is rocker bolts. Chain Sprockets

Hey guys, so i bought myself some new tools as I'm sick of looking at the poor 318is on my drive =( so i think its about time to get the engine out and into my 316.

I got the rocker off, and took a couple of pics, I'm no mechanic so any help is appreciated. A couple of the bolts were already loose i think they may of been like this for a while, When it came to putting them back in a couple wouldn't tighten up, have they been over torqued? and does this mean the end for the cylinder head? or do I just need some new bolts?


How do the teeth look?
