Since no one else has responded I'll have a go
I've heard Eberspacher or Bosal offer good quality replacements as they manufacture the originals for BMW.

I've got an Eberspacher rear section on my 325i and am pleased with it. Looks very OEM.TSM3 wrote:Since no one else has responded I'll have a go![]()

The only problem is finding them, ECP/CP4L list them on and off. I haven't seen meatballs on here for a while but might be worth pm'ing him for a part number.
They list a cheaper (or they did for the 325) exhaust which isn't said to be as good build quality so got for the dearer one. As an example for my the cheaper one was around £150 and the dearer £200.

I tried ECP and gsf for an iS backbox about 6 months ago and neither stocked them.

I had similar problems with my rear section for my 325i. Once I got the part number it came up on their website and I ordered it from there(ECP). If I remember rightly came up listed as something else (a sensor for near the front of the exhaust), but I took the risk and ordered it.jmc330i wrote:I tried ECP and gsf for an iS backbox about 6 months ago and neither stocked them.
