Going to order a new sunroof seal but not sure to get the 2 piece or 1 piece ? 1 piece sounds easier but are there any downsides of that ?

If you get a new 2 piece how do the 2 sections connect/overlap is that already catered for so it fits and seals together perfectly ?

Appriciate any advice

Thanks

Sunroof seal is a WIND seal,NOT a water seal.
Two piece joins on the sides,a butt join.
One piece joins at the rear, also with a butt join.

General opinion is that the one piece is better.I have a two piece seal on my touring, seem to remember that it was somewhat cheaper!

They are available price wise not a lot in it with my discounted price think its around 45-50 quid or so

I think I read somewhere about the 1 piece rear section/side being different ?
