hi guys ive brought a e30 m3 shell of a salvage yard cat d has anyone got a website were i can check the reg to check if its a gen?

you check by the VIN Number, not the reg.
Have you got the VIN number of the chassis ?
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

car came today thank god its a real m3 paid just over 5k it runs and drives looks like il only need a mainly bolt on bits on the front winkeye

it wouldn't be 5k if it wasnt a cat D even at that price i'd say it's cheap .

cat D coud just be as little as lock damage :mad:

It's just the stigma it carries for the rest of it's life but like you said cat d is very often cosmetic damage

I dont think cat d is gonna put many people off if joe ever sells as these cars are quite rare and sought after nowadays.

Anyway lets see the damage pictures please.

will be uploading them torrow as soon as the bodyshop opens il be keeping it not looking on fliping it as 5k is peanut money for such a car
