Hi All
I have recently bought an E30 325i - I had an E46 325ci before.
My question is, when i turn my sidelights on, my H1 bulbs come on dimly. A friend of mine who has an E30, said this does not happen on his..?
Any Ideas? i want to stop it happening as i would like to install an HID Kit and don't want the ballast being damaged by the 'half power' if that makes sense.

Some have a dim dip function, from memory you should find a resistor pack behind the passenger side headlight, on the inner wing.
I can't remember what you need to do to use HIDs but it's been asked before, so a quick search for dim dip and HIDs should bring up the relevant threads.

Two separate round two pin plug and sockets near the front of the LH inner wing. Just pull them apart.
