Hi there,

I noticed that the power leads to my window motor were dirty causing many problems with the windows.

What is the best way to clean them?

They have like a white mineral crust inside the leads. Have attached photo link below.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

acutally I was able to figure it out by googling more... seems like electrical contact cleaner and small wire brushes the way to go.

Indeed, that will do the job. You could use a fine jeweller's flat-bladed screwdriver to gently scrub at the inside of the terminals to remove the worst of the tarnish.

Use WD40 or vaseline afterwards to protect from further corrosion.
