Swapping out rear subframe/axle from one with drums to one with discs. Handbrake cable and brake pipes have been chopped on subframe with discs to go onto car.
Replacing subframe bushes and rtab at same time.
Can handbrake cable and brake pipes be used from the drum setup onto the disc setup?
It is better to replace these I guess. Is there anything else that needs replacing or any other parts etc I may require?
Cheers
Rear axle swap

Handbrake cables are different between drum and disc.
Brake pipes are the same up to as far as the arms, but discs have an extra flexible pipe from the fixed pipes to the calipers.

I'll get new handbrake cable ordered tomorrow.
The disc setup has flexible pipe from arm to caliper in place. ProbAbly replace these too for peace of mind.
Not looked at it in while so seeing it will make more sense I guess.
Just didn't want to tackle it and find I'm short of a pipe or something half way thru.
Any suggestions on grease for the bushes which are all poly?
