Folks, Ive a spare M20B20 full engine and am looking to put it on a stand and overhaul it later this year.

The three legged stands just look like accidents waiting to happen...whats the general consensus of this type of stand ?

any advice would be welcome.

thanks in advance

I have one similar in design to the one pictured and its been fine, my m52 engine has been sitting on it for the best part of 8months and its easy enough to move around

H and U based stands are the most stable.

I bought the cheap one from machine mart about 5 years ago. Probably not the best money can buy. But it's had an engine one since the day I had it and it's still fine.
