Summers coming and I want something to chuck my downhill bike in and trot about to some riding spots
Wanna know if a tourer will be big enough to accomodate me bike??
Also may be a chance to upgrade to a 320 or 325?
can anyone help

In a word YES...
Back seats down, and you will have to take the front wheel off of the bike and put your bars to the frame, but it will fit.
Used to get my full sus in mine, its just that the touring does not have a full rear opening so you have to sort of drop the bike in at an angle...
REMEMBER IT'S NOT AN ESTATE CAR, IT'S A " TOURING "

She'll be aright mate.

my only comment is that space wise it is not bad, but those rear light clusters are a pain in the ar$e. Try getting a dishwasher between them!!
But still, that being said, it was a big regret when I sold my touring and got a saloon - yes the touring had a few squeeks and rattles - but is was so much more practical!

Trouble is it's a bit of a sod to take the front wheel off i'm running 7 inch travel monster t's and a 20mm thro axle the front is quite high
Can take the rear wheel off easily tho
Was worried about the shape of the tailgate I don't really wanna have to get something other than a beemer

I've carrid my mountain bike in mine no problem, just pop off one of the wheels and sorted. A handy tip to keep the car clean though, buy one of those plastic pvc type covers for a motorbike, like the car covers you can get. Flip it upside down and put the mountain bike in it, helps to keep the crap off the upholstery!! I think I paid a fiver for mine from Argos.....

having just parked mine next to my wee bro's Skoda felicia, i'd have to say its actually pretty darn small-but the whole hatchback thing makes up for it!
told my mum that the rear blind doesnt come out, so she cant use it to move wardrobes
bike should be no problem-make a nice change to have water in the boot that doesnt come from a leak!
cheers

I have put a full frame mountain bike in the back of my touring no problems, just put the rear seats down and take the luggage cover off. No removing wheels went in ok, shut the boot and everything
