I am rebuilding my sport after some substantial work, so far, two years! Money and time, lack of. Almost finished.
My question is.
Should a 325i sport genuine MTEC 2 have a m badge on the grill? The reason I ask is at some point all badges were removed from my car and I am trying to put back to original.
In my head it's wrong to have M badge on a non M car. M3/5 etc But you see lots of good looking original cars with the badges on. Confused. Many thanks.

Many were dealer fitted when new.

Many say it wrong to have them on a sport.

Do what you feel you would like.

Officially, no, but many sports were fitted with M grill badges by dealers as part of the package.

Thank you for the information. Good news, not going to replace the M badge on the grill. Just waiting for some good weather to replace the rear boot badge and small Mtech spoiler badge. The small tri colour badge. The Sides have been done already. Just rear to do.

I like the M badge on the grill. Should probably not be there as not a M3 but are so common on sports and Motorsports.
