Hi
I recently got a 3”a MAF with 173 chip for a e30 BMW with a M20B27 fitted
I followed the instructions to the letter !!
12v indicated between pin 3 and 4 of the MAF plug - i did the splice the grey/white to the red/blue cable. So this is all correct.
I measured between pin 2 and 4 (ign ON and Engine OFF) and should have had 1V according to the troubleshooting guide. I recorded 9.6V here.
With the engine idling the voltage reading went up to nearly 11V
Interestingly apart from a little ”ablip”a the car ran exactly the same with the MAF connected or diss-connected
It idles high and is very eratic on part throttle. Running very very rich.
Please can you help ?
Thanks v much.

well, i spoke to the Millar guy, Brody and it appears the 5v regulator in the sensor is duff so they will repair/replace as required if i send it back.
So back to Canada it goes.....
I have to say their customer service is amazing, wrote back to me straight away.
Top guys !!!

The guys at Miller are very good - have faith and they will sort you out. I had a Miller MAF on my M20 and it worked very well..
