Just wondered what everybody recommends for a short shifter, any particular makes etc?

BMW. The Z3 1.9 lever.

Some have started using a Z4 lever, but it's very short and makes the gear change too notchy for my liking.

M52/M3 shift if you are using the M20 box or use the Z3m shift if your using the M52/m3 box
