325 exhaust on 318

Hi guys slightly odd question

Can I fit an e30 325i twin pipe system easily on to a 318i m40 touring single pipe system?

Is the routing and rough length the same? Would it just be the case of making up a Y piece?

Got a 325i system and a 318i touring needing a new back box you see...

The cut out in the rear valence won't be big enough for the twin pipe, but apart from that, the mounting points on the body are the same, it starts in the same place, and finishes in the same place, so a one off Y piece should do the job.

I think the rear valance has actually been cut out slightly so may just work then thanks
