Refurbishing some 14" BBS wheels and the caps need doing to. I have already resprayed and cleaned the caps, I just need four adhesive BMW emblem's to go in the middle. I bought these ones off eBay thinking i'd get lucky and just replace the whole thing but they are cheap and completely the wrong colour and size. I just need the adhesive sticker that goes on the front.

Do not buy from this guy if you want sometime at all decent.
Anyway could someone help me out and tell me the exact size of emblem and where to get them so make these look brand new. I was thinking something like this but I don't want to get them from Japan..

I think they are 70mm, dealers will still sell them but I got some good quality vinyl stick on jobbies from eBay, some good stuff is on there amongst the tacky rubbish.

I did check my eBay account but the seller of my caps is suspended from what I read.
Had a look on what else is on offer on the bay, some are the wrong style and colour. If it was me i would call the local friendly bmw dealer (surprising what is still available new) tell them what you need (might need a chassis number if the wheels are part of the standard spec).
If people are selling them on eBay for £4.60 each plus post the dealer should be slightly less....

Oh right!.. I always assumed the dealer would be the one ripping people off. I'll call my local dealership and ask them. Thanks man.

Something that some ebay sellers and purveyors of second hand and new copies of bits rely on! There's no end of stuff up for sale at a higher price than brand new from BMW.Stevieabz wrote:I always assumed the dealer would be the one ripping people off.

When I worked at an inferior German car brand dealership, one chap was buying battery covers in bulk 20+ at a time. We had to monitor eBay sellers in the area selling gen parts and he was making 50% mark up.Brianmoooore wrote:Something that some ebay sellers and purveyors of second hand and new copies of bits rely on! We where requested by management to do the same which we did (standard price on ebay shop) and the guy complained to the hilt as no one was buying his overpriced stuff.
eBay can't be used as a price guide anymore lots of sharks on it.
