Hello

Was wondering if anybody could help me. I have some issues with my washer pump on my 1990 325.

The pump has completely stopped working when I pull the stalk. The wipers still run through their 3 wipe cycle, but there is no noise from the pump. As its a 2 bottle system, I tried switching the pump for the one on the smaller bottle, but nothing changed. The fuse has not blown, so its not that.
I tried using a multimeter and saw 11v at the plug for the pump. I know the brown/black wire is meant to switch to ground when the stalk is pulled, but when I pulled the stalk there was no change. Any ideas where I should look next?

Any help is appreciated.

I would try directly connecting the pump across a 12V battery to check the motor still works - they are prone to seizing up.
