Might be a daft question, but my mates ignition barrel has apperently eaten his key.

He didnt know what to do so got towed to the local BMW dealers who want Ԛ£300 odd pound to sort the prob out.

Are E30 and E34 locks the same?

If not, i'll look and on e-bay and see if i can find a complete set, ive changed a complete E30 one so hopefully the E34 will be similair.

Thanks for any help :thumb:

oo er..

i know how you mean though, i can count on one hand the number of times the sport has been sideways in my owner ship (by sideways i mean more than a quater turn of opposite lock) and i've had it nearly a year.

was still fun when it was but i don't have the talent to do it often...so i just leave it to the professionals

Nope. Doors and ignition are both different (well, E30 part numbers don't come up as being used on E34).
