Throttle Cable

Hi All,

What throttle cable do i need for my m52 conversion?

I understand it maybe the e34 1170mm one but will that still be the case as i have an m52 throttle body and not an m50 throttle body.

Yes, part number is 35 41 1 160 611

I ordered one a few weeks ago and it was only about £19 from a dealer

Yea defo get a dealer one if you can, or you can even use an e36 328 throttle cable like i did - I bought a non-oem (redline i think) M50 one for mine (also using M52 TB) and it was a bodge to get it to fit and work, which i wasn't happy with at all

Well i've ordered this from BMW and got some short friggin cable.

Anyone got a different part number?

That is definitely the right part number, but there have been a number of occassions in the past where the wrong one has been sent as there are 2. I remember a thread saying that the shorter one is for models with cruise control. See the threads here:

I used my original 318i cable and works fine but new is always best
