Right, the suspension for my car is a question thats been on my mind for some time now and weighing up the pro's and cons, its definitely better price wise to stick with springs and dampers..
But then you loose the front adjustability that you get with coilovers..
I'm debating whether to dig deep and go for a full set of Gaz coilovers or stick with a respectable bilstein and eibach spring and shock, although this will still cost a fair few bob theres obviously no fabrication/strengthening involved but I loose the simple height adjustability that I'm after.
The car itself will not be a full track attacker! But would be nice to have the stiff set up of a track car. (considering it won't be daily driven)
I'm fairly confident with a few examples to look at I could do the work needed to fit coilovers.
But are they worth it?
anyone on here running coilovers?
Thanks!

also the adjustability is important as I know the exact stance I want to give the car and don't want to leave the height upto spring length

I've recently fitted the Gaz kit.
Took 1 month to make and had to supply another set of struts to cut down.
The kit is of great quality adjustability is also great.
Not driven many miles to make a comprehensive appraisal of the ride, but first opinion is they are great.
I ordered another set of springs, shorter for the rear as they only dropped 60mm and shorter for the front, so I could lift the spring above the tyre to save using spacers
When ordering take this into consideration also the poundage of the springs can be custom made.

I think I'm going to go with good quality springs and dampers, since access to the boot is terrible I don't want to tackle the towers + Money is being spent elsewhere now!!
cheers anyway!
