I have heard it said that there are a couple of breather pipes that have a tendency to block on the 318iS's and which release a bit more power when replaced/cleaned. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

I don't know about blocked pipes but the breathers under the intake boot usually perish and can do with replacing. Also the TB heater delete is a good mod if you have the horseshoe type heater attached to it.

Under the throttle body boot. There is a pipe from the rocker cover down to a y piece and another pipe from under the intake boot to the same y piece.
For the heater plate just do a search on here for 318is heater delete.
