Just a quick question ,should there be any light display above the fog light switches when the headlights are on ?

Not quite sure what you mean, but there are warning lights for both the front and rear fog lights in the strip of warning lights at the bottom of the instrument cluster, that should be lit when the corresponding fog lights are lit.
Lack of the rear one is a MOT test failure, and lack of the front one risks being stopped and fined if you have the front fog lights on by accident when not in "conditions of poor visibility".

If you mean illumination for the light switch itself, yes, there's a little bulb in the "window" above the switch.

If that's what you mean, then this should be lit all the time the ignition is on, not just when the lights are on.Gortour wrote:If you mean illumination for the light switch itself, yes, there's a little bulb in the "window" above the switch.

Thanks for your response , yes it's the bulbs above the switches that are not working , how difficult are they to replace ?.

Just the one bulb. Take the panel off under the steering column, reach up, holder just plugs into a hole, glass bulb just pulls out of the holder. Bulbs available at any car spares shop like Halfords.
