Juddering through the steering wheel under heavy braking

Im sure I've read somewhere this means there is a groove in my disc or something, am I close?

Look at your control arm bushes first.

as brian says check control arms if ok then it is your discs

thanks guys I will try that. Its not like its juddering you can see, sometimes you cant even feel it but a lot of the time the just feels slighly odd under braking, I think im feeling vibration, but hard to tell exactly.
