I will tell you our story which can be interpreted as bad feedback or normal situation.
I saw this thread:

http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=244584

And i was very interested in the HLWW kit and the rear pop-outs. Contacted Staley and asked him if he can post the parts, because he wrote in the ad "collection only". I asked him for exception and he was able to do it for me. He told me that he will post the seals of the windows too and i was very happy with this and that's why maybe there are people that have good deals with him. Anyway, i'm not from these people. I made payment, but our arrangements with Staley don't mean anything to him and he has already sold the parts. And yes, i made the payment on time. Here are the last conversations:

Cheers.

So i had to go to the bank on the next day to put some money in my card, because i had only cash in me and i can't pay in cash to Staley. In the end of the day i came home, sat on the PC and my first job was to make the payment and to write to Staley:

So check out the dates and the hours. I didn't delay with payments. Maybe some of us will tell - who pay first, gets first. Yes, i agree, but Staley could:

1. Told the new buyer "hey i'm already waiting for a payment and if i don't receive it by tomorrow you get the parts"
2. Asked me if i'm serious because a new buyer came up
3. Let's say that the new buyer came directly with the money and he didn't have time for that, he could at least write me a PM that the parts are sold and to not make payments, etc.

I'm always doing this when i have the same situations and the other side is always happy that i'm telling this. This doesn't cost anything to the seller and that's how i think it's correct.
So if you decide to buy something from him and pay him, you never know if he already sold it to someone else.

At the end - i thought we had some arrangements and i did everything to comply them, but Staley_turbo did not. :)

P.S. I'm looking for HLWW kit. :)

I'm sorry and I understand your dilemma but it's normally the case that first come first served.

The problem is, although you were a serious buyer, most traders / frequent fraggers on here will tell you that 9/10, they name their price only for the buyer to disappear up their own backside. Therefore, the parts are not sold unless:

1. a deposit is paypalled there and then
or
2. payment in full is recieved.

I've had cases where I've held stuff on the shelf on the promise that a buyer wants it, only to be advised when I chase the deal up that "oh sorry, I can't afford them now!"

The hard part here for you I'm afraid is that you should of had the payment available before agreeing to buying the parts (or at least sent a small deposit).

If the situation arose where Stayley has someone there and then with cash or payment, and someone the other side of the world has not yet paid? It's the person that can pay there and then that gets the parts I would think.

No deposit or payment = the parts have not yet sold I'm afraid.

Sorry if that sounds harsh :D . I've never met or dealt with Stayley but certainly, thats the way it works with most seller on here.

The problem is not the payment I know its fully refund. The problem is in the lost time. I have waited for many buyers 1 2 days and in most of the cases there wasnt any problem.

anyway obviously thats how you do it in the UK selling your part to someone else without telling a word about it or write just a simple PM that doesnt cost anything to the seller. :)
